Explore the wild heart of East Africa – from Amboseli’s elephant-filled plains to the Serengeti’s endless savannah and the legendary Masai Mara.

This immersive journey takes you across Kenya and Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes and, along the way, authentic cultural visits, stunning game drives, and handpicked accommodations that offer comfort, character, and a touch of wild luxury.

Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi – Giraffes & Culture

Stay: Serena Hotel Nairobi
Your safari adventure begins in Kenya’s buzzing capital. After your arrival, stretch your legs with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll meet endangered Rothschild giraffes up close. Later, explore Kenya’s story at the National Museum. It’s a soft landing before the wild journey ahead.

Day 2: Drive to Amboseli – Elephants & Kilimanjaro Views

Stay: Kibo Safari Camp, Amboseli
Hit the road south toward Amboseli National Park, famed for its herds of elephants and epic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After settling into camp, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive with the mountain looming in the distance.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Amboseli

Amboseli is a dream for wildlife lovers. You’ll spend the day on game drives across wetlands, open plains, and acacia woodlands. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, buffalo, and over 400 bird species.

Day 4: Serval Wildlife Sanctuary – Conservation Close-Up

 Stay: Serval Wildlife Lodge
Today you’ll visit the Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, a unique place where you’ll walk among freely roaming giraffes and zebras. This conservation experience is peaceful, inspiring, and a great way to get close to nature without a vehicle.

Day 5: Into Tanzania – Tarangire National Park Adventure

Stay: Elephant Springs Lodge, Tarangire
Cross into Tanzania and head for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive through this scenic landscape—and if you’re up for it, choose an optional night safari for a rare glimpse of the nocturnal world.

Day 6: Cultural Immersion at Lake Eyasi

Stay: Kisima Ngeda Camp, Lake Eyasi
A truly special day awaits. Travel to the shores of Lake Eyasi, where you’ll meet the Hadzabe, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. Join them for a morning hunt and learn about their deep connection to the land.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Africa’s Eden

Stay: Serena Ngorongoro Lodge
Head to the highlands and descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater—a wildlife haven teeming with lions, rhinos, hippos, and hyenas. It’s one of the only places you can see the Big Five in a single day.

Day 8: Into the Serengeti – Welcome to the Wild

Stay: Nyota Luxury Camp, Serengeti
Drive into the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most iconic park. Along the way, spot wildlife and soak in the ever-expanding horizon. Your luxury tented camp offers the perfect vantage point for sunset over the plains.

Day 9: Full Day in the Serengeti – Big Cats & Endless Plains

Explore the vast Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. With luck, you’ll catch lions hunting, cheetahs sprinting, or part of the Great Migration, depending on the season. Want something extra special? Book a sunrise hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of this magnificent park.

Day 10: Fly to Kenya – Into the Masai Mara

 Stay: Serena Mara Lodge
After breakfast, fly back into Kenya and head straight to the Masai Mara—a continuation of the Serengeti and home to thrilling wildlife action. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive as the sun casts a golden glow across the savannah.

Day 11: Full Day Safari in the Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring the Mara’s rivers, acacia-dotted plains, and hidden valleys. Look out for the Big Five and enjoy the chance to see dramatic predator-prey interactions. If you are feeling adventurous float above the reserve in a hot air balloon and toast the morning with a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 12: Lake Naivasha – Gentle Waters & Walking Safaris

Stay: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Your final full day is all about winding down. Head to Lake Naivasha, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing boat ride among hippos and birds. Later, stroll among zebras and giraffes on Crescent Island, a peaceful, predator-free peninsula.
