Day 1:
Nairobi to Mara
- On this day you will be picked up from the hotel and proceed to Maasai Mara.
- Upon arrival in the Mara, check into your hotel, enjoy lunch, and refresh.
- After freshening up, head out for a game drive.
- Sightings to expect include lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhino, cheetahs, wildebeests, and possibly leopards.
- In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2:
Full day in Masai Mara
- Begin the day with an early morning game drive to witness the sunrise and spot hyenas, jackals, and large buffalo herds.
- After the game drive return to the lodge for breakfast.
- In the afternoon enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by leisure time.
- In the evening set out for another game drive, seeking giraffes, zebras, and the striking Maasai giraffe.
- In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3:
Mara to Serengeti
- After breakfast, check out of your Maasai Mara hotel and journey to the Serengeti, crossing the Isbania border.
- Upon arrival, check into your Serengeti accommodation, and after having lunch, embark on a game drive. Sightings to expect include the Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes), as well as the remarkable wildebeest migrations.
- In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4:
Full day in Serengeti
- On this day rise up early and head out for a game drive.
- Sightings to expect during your game drive include lions, leopards, herds of wildebeest, zebras, and diverse birdlife, potential predator-prey interactions, and watching the sunrise.
- After the game drive head back to the hotel for breakfast, midday break for lunch.
- After lunch head out for an afternoon game drive to spot more wildlife including elephants and giraffes.
- In the evening head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
Serengeti to Arusha
- After breakfast, check out of your Serengeti hotel and travel to Arusha in time for your international flight.
