This itinerary combines the wild beauty of Kenya’s top game reserves with the serene luxury of Zanzibar’s coastline. From spotting big cats in the Masai Mara to relaxing at your beachfront resort, it’s the perfect mix of adventure and downtime.

Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi

Your adventure kicks off in Kenya’s lively capital. We’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your city base at PrideInn Azure, a modern hotel offering comfort and great hospitality. Relax, settle in, and get ready for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Into the Wild

After breakfast, we set off for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kenya. You’ll arrive in time for an afternoon game drive through this exceptional wildlife haven. Your home for the next two nights is the Sweetwaters Serena Camp, a beautifully located tented camp overlooking a watering hole, with wildlife sightings right from your veranda!

Day 3: Meet Baraka the Rhino & Visit the Chimps

Start the day with a visit to Baraka, the blind black rhino with a big personality. Then, enjoy an enriching experience at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where rescued chimps live in safety. Cap off the day with an exciting night game drive, where nocturnal animals come alive under the stars.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – A Touch of Serenity

Today, we journey through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. You’ll stay at the peaceful Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, surrounded by lush gardens and often visited by giraffes and waterbucks. Enjoy a boat ride among hippos and birds, followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island for a close-up experience with wildlife.

Day 5: Into the Masai Mara

Time to head to Kenya’s most iconic safari destination, the Masai Mara. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive with a chance to see local villages and wildlife along the way. Your stay is at Zebra River Camp, a cozy, authentic camp nestled deep in the wilderness. After lunch, head out on your first Mara game drive. Keep your camera ready—this is big cat territory!

Day 6: Full-Day Safari in the Masai Mara

Enjoy a full day of wildlife exploration. The Masai Mara is famous for its high concentration of animals, including the Big Five, and the seasonal Great Migration. Picnic in the bush, follow tracks of lions or cheetahs, and take in the endless beauty of the savannah. Optionally, add a sunrise hot air balloon safari for a breathtaking aerial view.

Day 7: Fly to Zanzibar. Time for the Beach

Say goodbye to the savannah and hello to the sea! After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. You’ll be picked up and taken to your island retreat: Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort, known for its stunning location and warm hospitality. Relax, swim, and enjoy the tropical vibes.

Day 8: Stone Town, Prison Island & Sandbank Fun

Today, dive into the cultural heart of Zanzibar with a Stone Town city tour, explore spice-scented streets, old forts, and historic sites. Then sail to Prison Island, where you’ll meet giant tortoises and swim in clear waters. End the day with a visit to a beautiful sandbank, ideal for snorkeling and sunbathing.

Day 9: Chill Day in Paradise

Today is all yours. Whether you’re sipping cocktails by the pool, taking a yoga class, or joining a spice farm tour, Royal Zanzibar offers the perfect base for relaxation or exploration.

Day 10: One More Day to Unwind

Enjoy your final full day in paradise. Lounge by the ocean, indulge in a spa treatment, or go snorkeling one last time. Soak in every last drop of sunshine before heading home.
