Overview
Experience East Africa the way it was meant to be: wild, beautiful, and unforgettable.
This carefully crafted journey takes you from the bustling heart of Nairobi to the open plains of Amboseli, the untamed beauty of Loisaba, and the iconic Masai Mara. Then we fly you across the border into Tanzania’s legendary Serengeti and Ngorongoro, each destination revealing its magic.
And the best part? You’ll be flying between all locations, skipping the long drives so you can spend more time soaking in the scenery, the wildlife, and the quiet luxury of some of Africa’s most breathtaking camps and lodges.
Day 1:
Arrive in Nairobi
JW Marriott Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! We’ll meet you at the airport and whisk you off to the elegant JW Marriott—an urban sanctuary where you can unwind, refresh, and ease into the safari rhythm. Kick off the evening with a delicious meal or a quiet cocktail overlooking the city lights.
Day 2:
Fly to Amboseli – Elephants & Kilimanjaro Views
Elewana Tortilis Camp
This morning, you’ll board a short scenic flight to Amboseli National Park, known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and famous elephant herds. Settle into your stylish tented suite at Elewana Tortilis Camp and head out for your first afternoon game drive. Look out for lions, giraffes, and shimmering salt pans.
Day 3:
Explore Amboseli
Today is all about slowing down and soaking up the magic. Watch elephants cross the plains with Kilimanjaro in the background. Enjoy game drives in the golden light and take a moment to just be a rare luxury in itself.
Day 4:
Fly to Loisaba – Wild, Remote & Wonderful
Loisaba Tented Camp
Next, we fly you to Loisaba, tucked away in the heart of Laikipia’s wilderness. Here, you’ll check in at Loisaba Tented Camp, perched above an endless valley. This evening, you’ll go on a night game drive, where the bush truly comes alive after dark.
Day 5:
Horseback Safari & More
Start the day on horseback, quiet, graceful, and incredibly close to nature. Ride alongside zebra and antelope, just like the early explorers. Later, enjoy more time at your own pace: take a dip in the pool, visit a local community, or sip sundowners as the sky turns orange.
Day 6: Fly to the Masai Mara – Kenya’s Crown Jewel
Elewana Sand River Mara
A short flight takes you into the legendary Masai Mara. Your stay at Sand River Mara blends vintage charm with riverside luxury. Settle in, then head out for an afternoon game drive. You’re officially in big cat territory now.
Day 7: Wildlife & Culture in the Mara
Another full day to explore the Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal). You’ll also visit a local Maasai village—a chance to connect with the people who have lived alongside wildlife for generations.
Day 8:
Cross into Tanzania – Welcome to the Serengeti
Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp
Today, you fly into Serengeti National Park, where the savannah stretches endlessly in every direction. Your camp, Elewana Pioneer, offers a front-row seat to the action, whether it’s the migration or a lion on the prowl. Afternoon game drive included.
Day 9: Balloon Safari & Game Drives
Wake early for a sunrise hot air balloon safari an absolute must. Drift silently above the Serengeti, then enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush. The rest of the day is yours to explore, relax, and soak up the magic.
Day 10: One More Day in the Wild
Your final full day in the Serengeti is yours to spend however you wish. Track wildlife, lounge at camp, or chase the sunset on your last drive through the plains.
Day 11: Fly to Ngorongoro – Highland Escape
The Manor at Ngorongoro
Today, fly into the lush highlands surrounding Ngorongoro Crater and settle into the dreamy Manor at Ngorongoro a cozy, elegant hideaway surrounded by coffee fields and misty hills. Take the afternoon to relax and enjoy the slower pace.
Day 12: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Head down into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called “Africa’s Eden.” This unique ecosystem is home to almost every major African species, from rhinos and lions to hippos and flamingos. It’s your last safari day—and a truly spectacular one.
